Collaborative Management Group

This is the first Collaborative Management Group meeting of the York Region Alliance to End Homelessness. 

The purpose of the Collaborative Management Group (CMG) is to increase direct involvement of senior staff and decision-makers in collaboratively addressing issues of homelessness and poverty. Recognizing that senior staff often cannot participate in some initiatives because of the number of meetings, the CMG aims is to have less frequent, more comprehensive meetings with an integrative approach to building collaborative solutions to common issues.

Specific issues that will be targeted include Transportation, Capacity Building, and Health Access needs. The CMG differs from task-oriented working groups as it invites senior staff and decision makers to engage in strategic solutions through a systems approach.
