Financial Management Tools for Low-Income Individuals

This event is an opportunity for Housing, Outreach, and Transitional Support (HOTS) workers who provide direct support and services to homeless and at risk individuals to learn about Financial Management Tools available for people living on low income. 
 
The HOTS Network is a collaborative initiative to increase skills and understanding of direct service workers to provide knowledgeable and competent support to homeless and at-risk clients seeking to establish or maintain adequate housing.
 
Keynote Presentation:
·        Counselling low income clients on:
o   Banking
o   Budgeting
o   Key support related to taxation
o   Other financial entitlements
Panel Discussion:
·        Featuring representatives from local banks and other financial services companies
·        Highlighting services and products available for low-income clients
·        Criteria and requirements for accounts
·        Interactive discussion and Q&A
 
This is a free event.  A light networking lunch will be provided from 12:45pm to 1:30pm.
