Catalyst Effect of Collaborative Meetings

“HPI and the York Region Alliance to End Homelessness have been the catalyst for a remarkable new collaboration between two neighbourhood agencies.

Transit Georgina and Sandgate Women's Shelter of York Region have begun a tremendous partnership!  Transit Georgina provides transportation which Sandgate is able to afford, only as a result of the funds they have received through HPI.  Transit Georgina has provided hundreds of rides to the residents of Sandgate to destinations that support their transition back into society.  Destinations that enable them to settle housing issues, further employment opportunities and receive an education."
