Why Collaboration Matters
Ending homelessness and reducing poverty can only happen through collective action. Working together through collaborative efforts, we can build the inclusive, healthy and sustainable communities we want.
We believe it’s important to have a shared aspiration of what we are trying to achieve, a shared understanding of the problems we are working on, a willingness to invest time and resources and a commitment to act.
For organizations that provide services – we can plan together, look at effective practices, make the best use of resources and measure the impact of our work.
For the wider community – we can broaden community understanding and ownership of the issues and work together on solutions that impact the lives of those who for a variety of systemic reasons and individuals circumstances find themselves on the margins of our communities.
Each of us has a vested interested in the creation of healthy communities and quality of life for all.
