Peer-to-Peer Network

Welcome to the Peer-to-Peer Network section of the YRAEH website!  This section allows you to sign in and participate in information and resource sharing through an online network community.

HOTS Network

The HOTS Network is an online collaborative community specifically for Housing, Outreach, and Transitional Support workers from different agencies across York Region.  This section of the site allows HOTS workers to ask questions, share resources and suggestions specific to your work, post relevant events and annoucnements, and discuss current issues. 

To join the HOTS network:

1. Click on the "Create new account" tab to enter your new Username and E-mail address. 
2. When your Account has been approved, you will receive an email to login with a temporary password.
3. Once you are logged in, please update your profile and change your password.
4. Once you have an account, you can go directly to the Log in tab to sign in.

To participate in the HOTS network:

Dashboard:

1. This is your starting point when you login, which shows you all the recent activity on the HOTS Network.
2. Click on the bulletin board icon on the left to return to the dashboard.

Discussion/Blog:

1. Click on the speech bubble icon on the left. 
2. Click on "+Add Blog entry" for a new conversation thread.
3. Click on "Add new comment" below any existing blog to add to a conversation.

Calendar:

1. Click on the calendar icon on the left.
2. Click on "+Add Event" to enter a new calendar item.
3. Place your mouse over or click on any coloured calendar item to see more details.
